I am experienced in phonetics, over the years I've been able to help my students read and write effectively. At primary levels it is made fun, which is why it is called "Jolly Phonics". Most of my clients had difficulty replacing me.
Play way method is one of the best way of teaching age 4-8. Planned repetition and questioning also are a great deal for those above 8years.
Professional phonics teachers are expected to cover these areas;
Phonemics awareness,
Sound identification,
Blending,
Reading and comprehension
writing.
