I started using my first computer in the year 2000 and for a couple of years after then, I had been typing using my sense of sight - meaning I always had to look at the keyboard every time I wanted to press any key. Over time my speed in this "sight typing" increased.

But then I stumbled upon Touch Typing (typing with the sense of touch) which is by far more efficient, hence I had to unlearn the "sight typing" I had acquired. This was in 2009. I used a software called "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing".

Learning Touch Typing can be very frustrating (as it was for me), especially when you know that you can easily look at the keyboard and get rid of the misery of having your mind and fingers stretched just because you want to tap a key correctly without looking at the keyboard.

Dear client, learning Touch Typing requires constant practice and plenty of encouragement, because it is very easy to get discouraged and draw back to the 1-finger technique of typing. Hence, I'm offering you this constant practice and that much needed encouragement to get the best accuracy and speed at typing.

For this tutorial, you will need a computer of your own (preferably, a laptop), which you will use to practice what you learn.
In addition, the computer needs to have a typing software installed, for example, "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing". If it doesn't and you can't get it easily, we can provide it for you.
