In teaching this subject I have come to realize that it assists pupils in mastering the English language. It also increases the pupils level of understanding and aids them in their spoken English. In the last academic session, most of my pupils who didn't do so well in the subject, did beautifully in their English Language and when asked how come, they said they had encountered similar topics in their verbal reasoning class.
