I have always excelled in Mathematics since my teenage years, achieving second place in the senior school mock examination. It was during this time that I began tutoring my younger sister, who initially loathed the subject. However, she came to appreciate it thanks to my persuasive attitude and simplified communication skills.

I am proficient in preparing students using American, Canadian, and British curricula, helping them succeed in both internal and external exams. I work with students from both lower and higher grades.

With 10 years of tutoring experience, I advanced to the position of Head of the Science Department and received an award for being the best teaching staff at my former workplace. I have over a decade of experience teaching General Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and other core science subjects.

Several of my students have significantly improved their grades. For instance, Tolu raised her grade from a D to an A. Additionally, I tutored Neriah Okolo for the entrance examination, and she secured third place in the Nigerian Turkish International College National Mathematics Competition held in Abuja.

I combine my excellent communication skills with the ability to assess my students' needs, allowing me to tailor my tutoring to their paces. My approach encourages students to analyse what they have learned while enhancing their information retention, critical thinking, and independent thinking skills. I guide my students in solving a range of problems, from basic to highly challenging, to build their confidence.

I also emphasise the importance of meeting my students in a good mental state and often arrange for comfortable seating and technological resources to support their learning.
