Painting for me is a medium of expression which allows one use colors to very freely express themselves. It can be taught to students of all ages.
Before this can be done nevertheless, a child/student must understand the basics of colors, Primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Before advancing to the use of colors for texture, shade and solidifying a painting.
Once the basic knowledge is grounded,the rest is creativity...
