Basic Sciences

I am a dedicated educator with a Second-Class degree in Education (B.Ed.) in English Education and over four years of teaching experience, including teaching at King David’s High School. My experience across Basic Science, English Language, Social Studies, and History has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, connect with learners, and adapt my teaching to different abilities and learning needs.

Basic Science is more than a school subject; it is a way for children to understand the world around them. I make science engaging by connecting classroom topics to everyday experiences, using relatable examples, clear explanations, illustrations, and interactive activities that spark curiosity and make learning memorable.

Over the years, I have helped students build confidence in Basic Science and prepare effectively for their assessments, achieving a consistently high level of success. I focus on ensuring that learners understand scientific concepts rather than simply memorising facts, while developing their observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

When teaching children, I bring patience, encouragement, and a keen understanding of the importance of strong foundations. I recognise that every child learns differently, so I adjust my explanations, activities, and pace to suit each learner. I also identify areas of difficulty early and provide targeted support to help students make steady progress.

My goal is to nurture curious, confident young learners who understand science, enjoy discovering how things work, and feel fully prepared to excel in their schoolwork and examinations.
