I have a passion for children and education. I believe that it is important to start a child on the right path for a successful life. Therefore, one of my main goals is to provide a classroom where I can address the whole child. I seek to provide growth within a student emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development, while fostering an age and developmentally appropriate setting.
Not only is a child’s development important, it is equally important that an environment that is enlightened and safe for the student is provided. I believe that students are to be protected, loved, and cared for.
I believe that it is my responsibility to set an example for the student. As an educator, I must display and model how to be a respectful and responsive citizen of the community. Goals must be set, and the bar has to be set in order for a child to have any desire to achieve. I plan to encourage high expectations, while displaying genuine concern for the student's needs. This too will help motivate students to learn.
