Studying for my JAMB examination in 2011 and scoring 89 out of 100 in English taught me a trick or two to be used in order to pass English tests. Most people believe English tests require reading passages and writing stories but it involves more than that.
Reading to understand and comprehend, walking in the shoes of the passage's author and seeing through his eyes to arrive at a logical conclusion among others have to be mastered in order to excel in English tests. I have worked with children in preparing for their school as well as common entrance examinations and I have recorded outstanding success.
I am confident that my teaching methodology which involves teaching a child in a serene environment where they can learn and breaking complex modules into understandable bits, giving class tests and being able to answer the child's questions with the appropriate answers play a key role in ensuring their academic success.
