Phonics is an interesting aspect of English that helps with proper pronunciation of words. Before now, we pronounce words as it is spelled but with phonics we realize it is not always like that. I have had experiences teaching phonics over the years majorly with the 42 Phonics sounds and with many other curriculum. I am thrilled every time I hear Nigerian born children speak English in such amazing ways with their phonic sounds put into consideration. I enjoy helping kids have this skill because I have noticed it helps these kids now and in the future. It helps them communicate effectively and appropriately.

MY AREA OF INTEREST IS THE MONTESSORI APPROACH OF TEACHING. I ALSO LOVE THE PHONICS CURRICULUM AND THAT OF NUMBER WORK. I LOVE USING THE 42 PHONICS SOUND TO TEACH. THE BRITISH CURRICULUM EXPERIENCE I HAVE IS BASED ON THE NURSERY/PRIMARY LEVEL.
