More than 10 years experience

I graduated from the University of Ilorin as an overall best student in Physics Department. I discovered my passion for teaching since my Primary school days, and this was one of the tools that made me top my class.

I worked as a Mathematics, Physics and Basic Science teacher in a Junior and Senior Secondary School before I went for my National Youth Service. During my NYSC, I served at a College of Education where I taught Physics and then Further Mathematics in a nearby secondary school.

Also, being a WAEC and NECO examiner since 2007 improved my teaching capabilities and helped in training my students how to answer questions correctly in JSCE, SSCE, GCE and UTME. I have presented over 100 students in a year for WASSCE in Physics and Mathematics with a 100% pass rate of at least Credit level.

With my teaching experience, I have realized that not all students learn through the same teaching method, some need more attention than others, especially in Mathematical sciences. I have tutored students who had no interest in Mathematics, made them love the subject and also excelled.

My teaching methods involve stirring the student’s love for the subject, making students have the belief that they can solve any Mathematical problem and even create one for others to solve, building a cordial relationship with my students thereby making them feel free to ask any form of question, and finally encourage them to practice a lot. I review what we've learnt at the end of each week and month.

I specialize in Tutoring Mathematics and Sciences for Primary and JSS students. Also, I teach Physics and Mathematics at Senior Secondary School and Undergraduate level. I have prepared students for Cambridge A-Level Examinations, and they excelled.

Recently, I completed training by New Jersey Centre for Teaching and Learning on American Curriculum and Robotics Module.

My goal is not only to teach, but mentor and make my students realize their potentials and purpose in life.

I was trained in 2017 by New Jersey Centre for Teaching and Learning at the African University of Science and Technology(AUST), Abuja. This was during Mathematics and Science for Sub-Saharan Africa (MS4SSA), Co-organized by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and The World Bank in 2017.
