Further Mathematics

More than 10 years exprience

With a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education from Lagos State University, I bring a strong foundation in mathematics and a passion for helping students discover the logic behind even the most demanding mathematical problems.

Further Mathematics challenges students to think beyond familiar formulas, make connections between concepts, and approach problems from different angles. My strength as a tutor lies in helping learners navigate this complexity without feeling overwhelmed. I break down challenging ideas, explain the reasoning behind each method, and guide students towards recognising the patterns and strategies that make difficult questions more manageable.

In my lessons, students are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, test their understanding, and learn from their mistakes. Rather than simply showing them how to arrive at an answer, I focus on developing the mathematical reasoning that enables them to solve unfamiliar problems on their own.

I also help students prepare strategically for examinations by strengthening their grasp of essential topics, refining their working methods, and developing the precision required for advanced mathematical questions.

My aim is to help students move from feeling intimidated by Further Mathematics to approaching it with clarity, confidence, and a genuine sense of achievement.
