I help students succeed at IELTS.
IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) is an international exam that test one's proficiency of English language.
The test covers 4 major aspects
Listening
Reading
Writing
Speaking

Having a 7 or 8 band score is achievable if a candidate understands what is expected of each aspect of the test.
For listening test one needs to take time to listen and note the answers during this session. Read the questions first to have an idea of the correct answer. It takes a total of 60minutes.
For the Reading teat, one needs to read the questions first and carefully read the comprehension to get the expected answer. It covers 60minutes also.
For writing, you would be expected to write a letter for part 1 and an essay for Part 2.
For General Candidate, the letter is quite simpler compared to Academic candidate.

For part 2, the essay requires 40minutes and it specific information are necessary.
The write-up should be in line with the essay question. Complex sentences, good command of English, correct punctuations & paragraphing are needed for a good essay.
It is advisable a student starts with the session first as it carries more points.

For the speaking test, a candidate should be prepared for an holistic questioning session.
Questions are asked from the known to the unknown.
E.g Introduce yourself, your hobbies.
Note: Whatever you state as a response should be explained in detail.
If your hobby is swimming.
You should know what aspects are involved in swimming.
I have taught a couple of student who have had high band scores in the past.
