How I can help
Nigerian History
I delight in teaching Nigerian History. It is a course to which I have been committed, right from my first encounter with the subject in Primary 6. Teaching Nigerian History appeals to me strongly because, besides the fact that it goes a long way in educating others, it is also a pointer to my inherent nationalism.
Given my training as a Lawyer, I'm able to explain (and even storify) significant events and timelines in Nigeria's history; what they meant at the time of occurrence, and how they have shaped most of what we see today. This makes learning history fun and exciting, rather than learning by rote.
My desire to teach is borne out of the conviction that the process of education affords a two-pronged benefit: In which the student is educated and the teacher is granted mastery and specialization of the subject. Join me as we journey through Nigeria's rich history.
