Lord Denning stated that a good lawyer is one "who knows where to find the law." In my years of legal tutelage, I have garnered sufficient analytical skills required to locate the answers to every hypothetical question in law. This has set me apart as a student who knows the law. I have also developed the habit of extricating legal questions from daily happenings and finding legal solutions to them e.g when a transporter refuses to drop his customer at a designated location. This indicates a failure of performance and breach of contract in the law of contract.
I daresay that relating established principles of law to daily issues is one sure step towards demystifying the subject. I teach courses ranging from the departments of Jurisprudence and International law to Commercial and Industrial law. I have also developed a sure but simple way which ensures that my students commit names of cases to active memory.
I was supervised by the erudite Professor Akin Oyebode. This afforded me the opportunity to observe from close quarters his style of teaching. It is a trite fact that his students have drank from his wealth of knowledge. A trial will convince you.
