As a First Class Honours graduate of English of the University of Port Harcourt, sound, articulate, and effective EAP and essay writing is my business; it's what I do.
There's really nothing difficult about writing. All one needs is a good command of words, as well as how best to place these words in their right companies. This is where the problems of dangling and misplaced modifiers, faulty parallelism, malapropism, and the rest can be resolved.
Again, attention must also be paid to the writing mechanics. It is not just enough to put the right words in the right places, care must also be taken to ensure that one does not sprinkle comma and semi colon all over the places, for that can make, even a beautiful writing, a dense impenetrable forest for the reader.
We must not also ignore the principles of brevity, concision, good paragraphing, while also remembering to flee from the temptation of esoteric and obscurantist writings. Our readers have no time, let's not waste the little they have mapped out in reading our writings.
In all, all these might seem like a huge mountain to claim, but with a first class graduate of English leading, it's just another mole hill.
