I am a Researcher at Lagos Business School, and public speaking is an art that I consider sacrosanct. This is so because it is a vehicle with which (strong) personal views/opinions are conveyed to an audience. The experiences I have under my belt are from formal training, participating in speaking competitions, organization of speaking competitions, lectures on public speaking, coaching as well judging of speaking competitions. I am also an experienced speech writer. As a public speaking professional, I ensure my students/clients have a clear understanding of their audience before they craft the content of their speeches and make deliveries. One of my notable achievements was the organization of an inter-university discourse at the University of Ibadan in 2010. I coached the contestants who represented my school. My school won the debate convincingly. I teach public speaking via lectures (on content development and delivery) and practice sessions--I strike a fine balance between both. I also teach with speech videos of accomplished speakers. My clients should expect insightful lectures and practice sessions that will help polish their speaking skills to a dazzling gloss. When I teach public speaking, excellence is my watch word!
