I have taught social studies for a couple of years now and my students have greatly excelled in the subject.

I adopt an interactive teaching method and expect feedback from the student. I make use of everyday happenings and other examples the student can relate with to drive the topic home.
The student is expected to bring relevant study materials that will make learning effective and efficient.
At the end of each class, a brief assessment will the done to ascertain how well the student has internalized the subject for the day.
