Letter writing involves expressing our thoughts, wishes, feelings, requests, etc on a paper with the intention of sending it to someone, a group of people or an organization. Have you ever bothered on how to write simple and meaningful letters?. Here is a golden opportunity for you to learn it. Letter writing is a skill in English language that is used in our day-to-day lives. We often write letters to our friends, families and relatives, just as in the case of informal letters. Basically, in English language, we have informal letters and formal or official letters. It is important for students of English language to learn this skill for personal use or for examination purposes, as its' knowledge is being tested in various examinations both in primary and secondary schools. I intend to teach this subject by exposing the students to simple ways of writing letters, as well as the rules to be followed in writing formal and informal letters. I will also teach the students how to write fascinating letters by avoiding some common errors. The students will master this skill by answering various practical questions on letter writing using the basic steps taught in the lesson.
