Do you have difficulties in reading and understanding comprehension passages?. Do you always find it difficult to answer questions that follow comprehension passages?. Here is an avenue to acquire this basic English language skill with ease. Reading comprehension is an important skill to be acquired by students in order to be able to read and understand a given passage and answer the questions correctly. The ability to answer the questions correctly shows the student's level of understanding of the passage.
Reading comprehension is a very useful skill, especially at the primary and secondary school level. Most English language examinations at these two levels require the mastery of this skill, even at the SSCE and WAEC examinations. I thought students this skill as a branch of English language during my teaching practice programme in a primary school and I am still willing to teach more students.
To get started, I will test the student's ability to read and comprehend easily on his or her own, according to his or her age, class and intellect, this will be done to discover his or her level of reading and assimilation skills, thereafter, real lessons follow.
