I have a strong passion for teaching phonetics. I have been teaching speech work for more than seven years in different secondary schools in Nigeria. I am very patient and simple in teaching. As a Masters degree holder in English language, I have the skills to change the way students articulate sounds and pronounce words.
I have taught students who were brought from the villages to pronounce words well and identify the various 44 speech sounds in words.
I have the skills in stressing words and sentences very well. My students do not find word stress and sentence stress difficult.
What my students should do is to be serious and they will be able to identify the speech sounds of English and produce them accurately.
