I am an experienced and passionate mathematics tutor with a strong background in helping elementary and primary learners develop deep mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and confidence in mathematics.
My approach goes beyond simply helping students complete their schoolwork. I provide academic enrichment and extension activities that challenge strong learners to think critically, explain their reasoning, explore multiple solution strategies, and apply mathematical concepts to real-life and unfamiliar problems.


I am comfortable supporting learners across a range of elementary mathematics topics, including number sense, operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, measurement, patterns, algebraic thinking, data handling, word problems, and mathematical reasoning.
I particularly enjoy working with academically capable students who need to be challenged beyond the basic classroom curriculum. My lessons are structured to identify what the learner already understands and then build on that foundation with appropriately challenging tasks rather than relying solely on remedial instruction.
I use an interactive, student-centred approach, encouraging learners to explain how and why they arrived at an answer rather than simply memorising procedures. I also adapt the difficulty of activities according to the learner's performance so that lessons remain both engaging and appropriately challenging.
My goal is to help students become independent, confident and flexible mathematical thinkers who are capable of applying their knowledge beyond routine classroom exercises.

I can use a student's performance information to help:
