Through years of teaching both students and adults, I understand that each student is different in their way in terms of reasoning, thinking, and understanding; and so I tailor my lessons accordingly.

I have extensive knowledge of the use and teaching of the English Language using various learning aids such as pictures, textbooks, and worksheets to help my students understand each concept. I teach them how to read, pronounce words correctly (phonics) and also how to write/construct correct sentences. In teaching kids, we start with getting to know what the story is about, by asking questions based on the pictures from their textbook, getting ideas from the children, and from there we move on to reading. I also use letter sounds, to help my pupils on how to pronounce certain words without much difficulty.

Basically, I read with them, for them to have a better understanding of the story, or we take turns in reading from chapters or paragraphs. We write down new words, look for the meaning, and make sentences with these new words. I then ask them questions from the story, to see if they actually understood the story. At the same time, I ask for morals from the story and relate them to reality.
I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, meeting people, and surfing the internet. I am Montessori trained, an early childhood instructor, an entrepreneur, and a child psychologist.
