The software is a 21st century Autodesk product used for structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings. It is used to achieve neat and fast engineering drawings of all types and sizes.

However, its use is almost endless as other fields such as Urban and Regional Planning; Land Survey, etc. make use of the application to suit different purposes and it offers a lot of solutions to engineering problems. It has versions such as AUTOCAD 2007, AUTOCAD 2010, AUTOCAD 2019, and AUTOCAD 2020 just to mention but a few.

I also teach STAAD PRO, ProtaStructure, Orion RC, etc for Structural Analysis and Design for Engineers. The good news is that all of them have almost the same considerable user-friendly interfaces.
