Make no mistakes, an excellent teacher will produce excellent students. I'm quite a quintessential, professional teacher who specializes in Mathematics and Sciences including Physics and Chemistry for Year 10 - 11 students. I have successfully prepared students for IGCSE and Checkpoint examinations.
I teach in-depth, using 21st century technologies and software to ensure my students have a firm grasp of each topic taught, and the results have been impressive. I also try to use pictures and role play where necessary, as well as use real life examples to help the student see how really to apply the knowledge gained.
I personally love taking on new challenges in teaching, which to me, is a calling rather than a job. I find pleasure in contributing to and shaping the lives of children. I also try to use formative assessment (flash cards) as this helps me to monitor the progress of my student on a day to day basis, rather than wait till summative assessment is done at the end.
I don't give up on any student until I achieve set goals.
