I am a trained Montessori teacher and teach children to solve Math problems by themselves in a short while, help them understand English Grammar, Comprehension and writing, as well as teaching them diction, to blend words and read using phonics.
I use very practical examples and learning materials to teach Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division and Word Problems. The learning materials come as fun learning tools, worksheets and other objects they can easily relate with. I have an experience with teaching kindergarten Maths as well as Elementary Mathematics. I teach blends, digraphs and double vowel sounds, long vowel sounds and so on. I introduce two and three letter phonic words, and then short words that have blends in them. I teach children to be able to read comprehensions by themselves and answer questions that follow. I help the child expand his thinking by telling short stories, writing compositions and so on
I personally home-schooled a six year old child whose parents had to withdraw from school due to very poor performance. I developed friendship with him and taught him in a fun way. I taught him for two full terms and now, he is doing so well and one of his best subjects is Maths.
