I find it saddening to see students struggle with and even fail Mathematics. The shocking part of it is that with a little effort, guidance, encouragement direction and discipline, these students can thrive in Mathematics. I have taught several studies over the years and my experience has helped me to understand the basic foundation which a student must have before he or she can build a successful Mathematical experience. Mathematics can actually be fun.

Practise. Practise. Practise. This is what I drum into their ears all the time. I encourage my students to try as many questions as possible because even if they make mistakes, they will still learn from them.

I access their progress in a particular topic through classwork, assignments, projects, tests and exams and even their ability to teach me that same topic. I work with a lot if past questions.

I strive to understand the uniqueness of each student and work together with the parent(s)/guardian to achieve student success.
