For my final year project, I worked on "The Use of Multimedia in Children's Literature". There was a chapter where I talked about pictures reading.

Children's books also include 'Picture Books', and it is a great beginning for them to learn how to read. They are able to identify images as the tutor gives instructions. That way, they can easily identify objects wherever they see them. Also, if they advance to reading book without pictures, their imagination speaks to them based on previous knowledge about the object they had read in their picture book.
