as the saying goes," readers are excellent leaders of tomorrow". How does a tutor inculcate the habit of reading in a learner, is through phonics. Phonics is the study of sounds and speech,which when taught comprehensively will make learners be able to pronounce and read. In my years of sojourn as a phonics tutor,I have been able to make learners who ordinarily were not able to pronounce or identify the various sounds, such as vowels and consonants sounds,under my tutulage, have performed above expectations.
My method of teaching is that of practical and interactive to make the teaching- learning experience, worthwhile.
I believe a trail will absolutely convince a prospective parents.
