Basic Technology
More than 3 years experience
I have been teaching Basic Technology for close to two years. I have a strong technological background as I am a Chemical Engineer by training.
Students who wish to go into the technical science department in senior secondary school need to have a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing and Mathematics. Basic Technology provides a strong foundation for these subjects.
I also teach based on the recently approved Basic Technology curriculum. Topics like wood processing and conversion, metal processing, identification of materials, simple tools and their classification, isometric, oblique, perspective drawing, career in technology and many other topics will be adequately covered.
I will also ensure that the student is well prepared for Junior Secondary Certificate Examinations.
