Law is certainly not a course for the faint-hearted. This is not an attempt to scare or intimidate but the fact is that a student of law has to be prepared to brace up for the analytical demands, mental dexterity, reading, writing, and other demands that are required for the study of Law. A high level of self-discipline and sacrifice is needed; reading profoundly, writing term papers, attending group discussions, and attending classes.
Personally, I found my legal studies and examinations challenging, interesting and innovative and I accept that this should be the case!
My experience as a student and practitioner of law over the last few years has helped me develop a deep approach to how to study and understand varying subjects of law. I have been able to break down complex issues of law and simplify them by making them as less abstract and as practicable as possible, in a way that a layman in the subject will understand and appreciate.
As a law teacher, I have built my pedagogy around the same methodology that helped me excel as a law student and that has kept me going as a practicing lawyer; so I apply it improvingly in teaching my students.
In this regard, I summarize the voluminous texts to simple notes for my students, create mnemonics to help them remember important points, prepare moots on the topics, teach them how to tackle a problem and analytical question, and link the topics to practical life situations as well as client meeting and courtroom scenarios from my experience as a legal practitioner.

I am a private legal practitioner and teach as a part time engagement. I started teaching from my university days when I helped students of younger classes prepare for examinations and easily understand some of the difficult courses. This continued after I left the university and I also got involved in preparing candidates for SSCE and UTME. I currently prepare students for Law School Bar Exam.
