French Language

More than 3 years experience

I am a passionate French language educator with a Second-Class Upper degree in French Language and Literature, a DELF B2 professional certification, and experience sitting the TEF examination. With over 7 years of French teaching experience, I have developed an effective, learner-centred approach that helps children, teenagers and adults build confidence, strengthen their language skills and achieve their personal, academic and professional goals.

My expertise extends beyond teaching French as a school subject. I help learners develop practical proficiency in the language, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Whether you are starting from scratch, improving your fluency or preparing for an important examination, I structure my lessons around your current ability, learning objectives and desired outcomes.

I also provide focused support for French proficiency examinations and professional language goals, drawing on my knowledge of DELF and my experience with the TEF examination. My lessons help learners strengthen their understanding of the language, practise relevant skills and develop the confidence to approach assessments more effectively.

As a patient, adaptable and encouraging tutor, I understand that every learner has a unique pace and learning style. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, use practical examples and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising, asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

Whether you are a parent seeking quality French lessons for your child, a student aiming for academic excellence, an adult learning French for personal development, or a professional preparing for a language proficiency examination, I am committed to helping you make meaningful progress.

My goal is to help you move beyond memorising French to understanding, speaking and using the language with confidence. With personalised guidance, structured practice and consistent support, your French-learning journey can be both enjoyable and rewarding.
