• Differential Equation is a mathematical equation that relates a function with its derivatives. It can describe how populations change, how heat moves, how springs vibrate, how radioactive elements decay, and much more. It provides a natural way to describe many phenomena in the universe.

• On its own, a differential equation is a wonderful way to express something, but is hard to use. So, I try to solve problems by turning it into a simpler equation that will be easier for my students to understand, even without the differential bits. This enables me to guide my students through calculations, solutions, derivations, making graphs, predicting the future, and so on.

• Teaching aids to be adopted shall vary from the use of visual (charts/graphs, displays, models, pictures), audio-visual (sound motion pictures, slides on sound etc.) and connectivity of new lessons with the old (whereby new and related topics would be treated by making reference to the previous topics that serve as a prerequisite to the new one). Such methods and interaction will make the student(s) feel friendly and confident with the subject and related fields.

• My knowledge of advanced engineering mathematics acquired while an undergraduate at the university has further strengthened my ability, skill and competence, in ordinary differential equation and partial differential equation, which, I can easily transfer to my students.

• I taught differential calculus as a topic in Further Mathematics for more than a decade. From my experience and as part of my achievements, many of my students have graduated from University of Lagos, University of Ibadan (department of wood, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering), while others graduated from Federal University of Technology, Akure (department of mining engineering, architecture and, surveying and geo-informatics). With my practical experience and ability to relate different concepts easily, I believe I am the best tutor you should hire for this course/subject.
