The thought of writing a proposal overwhelms many writers but the task does not have to be difficult. Proposals are written when people need to write a paper or make a purchase, as a formal way of putting forth an idea and asking for action to be taken on that idea.

My method of teaching this course shall involve making the student understand the types of proposal, purpose, and the targeted audience. We shall do some smart work of thinking, reasoning, and building up the structure of the write-up. This will consist of several questions urging students to build up reasoning and concepts, after a series of explanations and written examples.

I shall also make use of templates on some selected samples to let the client practice with and assimilate.

It is believed that with practice, my client would have a better understanding of what a proposal is and the approach to take in simplifying his/her write-up, be it for business or academic research purposes.
