Proofreading is the process of reviewing the final draft of a piece of writing to ensure consistency and accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. It is the reading of a galley proof or an electronic copy of a publication in order to detect and correct production errors of text or art.

Before submitting or printing an academic research paper, essay, email, memo, or any other written document, it is very important to carefully proofread it. Proofreading of the written material is the final step that must be taken before a document can be considered complete.

I'll make my client understand the fact that, as the writer of a document, it’s harder to spot any errors in it. You know what you meant to say, and so your brain may conveniently skip over missing words, typos, and jumbled sentences. For this reason, it’s always best to get someone else to proofread your work, or teach you how to proofread.

My teaching style would be focused on improving the students' proofreading ability, by reviewing as many as possible business and technical papers or journals, printing hard copies, and circle out any sighted error with a pencil or red pen. Afterward, I shall focus on any found weaknesses of the client, so as to know where and how to concentrate.

My past and present experience as an academic researcher who has been involved in many academic research and research methodology courses will enable me to be the best candidate for this role.
